Art hates me…

Oh yes, it certainly does.  It snickers and jeers at me – laughingly pointing a finger at me and screaming "HAAA HAHahahahaha!!!  Look what you CAN'T do!!"

I have tried, and I have tried… and failed repeatedly.  I just can't draw.  For the past two and a half decades I have simply resigned myself to being a voyeur – green with righteous envy and spiteful jealousy at all the wonderfully talented artists that seem to surround me everywhere.  You BASTARDS!!  I want some of your talent DAMMIT!!

But this is a new day.  This is the day I give into the fact that I will never be as good as I want to be, but I will keep trying anyway.  This is the day I place myself up to public ridicule, and forge on anyway.

This is April 30th, 2011.

This is the day I start drawing.

Any submissions I have will be put up sporadically throughout time with no consistency.  My art "attempts" are determined by the fact that my job requires my presence every (yes, EVERY) day, I have an attention span of a squirrel, and I also have a full blown family to pay attention to.  So, if any of you actually like my craptastic attempts at art and are waiting for more, please be patient.  More is coming – I just don't know when.
